Welcome to the
City of Auckland Cadet Unit
The City of Auckland Cadet Unit is part of the New Zealand Cadet Forces (NZCF), a voluntary training organisation for youth.
It is a partnership between the Ministry of Defence, New Zealand Defence Force and the community. The New Zealand Defence Force supplies the training syllabus and expertise. Officers give their time voluntarily. Supporters help to fundraise for uniforms, equipment and trips.
The training programmes help Cadets develop a positive outlook, maturity, self-confidence, initiative, team work and leadership skills - and gives them many opportunities that will benefit them in any career in the future.
Contact us for information or come and see us on Wednesday nights between 6.30pm and 9pm during school term weeks.

Young people and their families and supporters are welcome to come any Wednesday during school terms. Bring training gear so you can join in.
